1. Don't resist the urge to have something sweet, you'll end up giving in to chocolate or biscuits! Just find things to replace the usual sugary treats with. A handful of raisins or slice of pineapple will usually do the job of taking away that urge just as well as a mars bar!

2. If you want to cut out sugar from your tea or coffee, try cutting down 1/2 a teaspoon for a week at a time until you get to zero.

3. Drink LOTS of water. Often when we think we are hungry it's actually just the brain confusing hunger for thirst.
